Food brings people together.

Every dish holds a story. Every flavor carries tradition. And every shared meal is a chance to connect across cultures. We're a Boston nonprofit, and we started this the oldest way there is: by inviting each other over to eat.

Our platform invites you to explore the richness of your community through the joy of food. Whether you're looking for a new place to eat, a recipe to try at home, or a deeper understanding of the traditions behind your favorite cuisine, you'll find it here.

We celebrate the diversity that makes our neighborhoods vibrant. From the scents of local kitchens to the histories behind each meal, Culture Table is a space for curiosity, conversation, and appreciation.

This didn't begin as an organization. It began as a friendship: a lifelong Bostonian, others who have made homes across continents, and a new generation of storytellers, eating at each other's tables for years and swapping the recipes that came with us. Between us, we've spent decades teaching and building learning programs in Boston's universities and classrooms, and we bring that same care to a dinner table. The Culture Table is how we pass that on: an invitation to the same kind of table that changed how we see one another.

01

Remember

We honor the memories that live in recipes and the wisdom passed from one generation to the next.

02

Connect

Every shared meal is a chance to connect across cultures: at home, in the lunchroom, at the farmers market, at the neighborhood restaurant.

03

Grow

When we learn more about one another, we grow closer, and inspire new generations to carry traditions forward.

Majority women- and minority-owned and operated.

The people who lead and run The Culture Table are mostly women and mostly people of color. We treat that as a responsibility: the stories we tell, the partners we keep, and the seats we fill should reflect the communities whose food traditions give this work its meaning.

Because when we learn more about one another, we grow closer. And when we gather around the table, we build a more connected, compassionate world, one meal at a time.
