Sunday dinner, running late on purpose
At my family's table the food arrived on schedule and the conversation never did: plates refilled, opinions unsolicited, nobody in a hurry. I have spent my career looking for rooms with that energy.
Saniya Dattatraya believes the best stories, like the best meals, bring people together. She's passionate about connecting with others, whether over a cup of coffee, exploring new corners of Boston, or diving into a new project that sparks her curiosity. Raised in a family where food was more than just sustenance, where it was tradition and conversation. Saniya grew up understanding that the best stories are the ones that invite people to the table.
As a public relations strategist and educator, Saniya has built a career on crafting narratives that inform and inspire. With a background in design, social media strategy, and media relations, she has worked with brands and nonprofits to shape their public image, amplify their voices, and create connections that matter. Saniya's approach is always grounded in authenticity, strategy, and an understanding of what makes an audience listen. As an adjunct professor at Boston University, she brings that same passion for communication into the classroom, guiding students through the intricate dance of design strategy, media engagement, and brand storytelling.
She approaches her work like a well-balanced dish: thoughtful, layered, and meant to be shared. When she's not in the classroom, you'll find her exploring the streets of Boston with her friends and favorite people, discovering new spots around the city, or enjoying a meal that tells its own story.
The best stories are the ones that invite people to the table.
